The Organ at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour

The pipe organ at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, originally built and installed by Austin Organs, Inc. in 1959, was rebuilt by Quimby Pipe Organs, Inc. in 1999. The rebuilt organ is a two manual electro-pneumatic instrument consisting of 1,190 pipes arranged in 19 ranks and 22 stops. In addition to a versatile array of diapasons, flutes, and strings, the specifications include three reeds, a 32' digital Lieblich Gedeckt, chimes, and a Zymbelstern. 32 levels of combination action memory facilitate registration changes. The instrument is well suited to its unusually live acoustical environment (ideal for organ music). Colorful individual stops combine to form a powerful "full organ" sound that belies the actual size of the instrument.
