Regular weekly services at Our Saviour Lutheran Church are:
Saturday, 5:30 p.m. ("Casual" worship)
This service, while following generally the historic liturgy of the Church, is nevertheless freer in form. Led by a worship team of vocalists and various instrumentalists, the music is drawn primarily from a wide range of styles outside the traditional hymnody repertoire. Holy Communion is offered at all Saturday Services.
Sunday, 8:00 a.m.
This service is ideal for Christians who worship best in a quieter environment. While a variety of musical styles are used, the hymnody is selected mostly from the great hymnody tradition of the Church, both ancient and recently written. Holy Communion is offered at all 8.00 a.m. Services.
Sunday, 10:30 a.m.
This service is the principal Lord's Day service. While a variety of musical styles are used, the hymnody is selected mostly from the great hymnody tradition of the Church, both ancient and recently written. The organ is the primary instrument used to accompany congregational singing, although at times other instruments are used when more appropriate to the style of a particular song. From September through May, the Adult Choir and/or children and youth choirs lead the sung parts of the liturgy and provide anthems to further illuminate the themes of the day. Holy Communion is offered at all 10:30 a.m. Services, as well as at major festivals.
