Stewardship Kingdom Thoughts: Romans 7:14-25: St. Paul describes the conflict we Christians face each day of our lives. What we want to do we do not do, and what we hate we do. This sinful reality makes our lives as stewards more challenging but, thanks to Jesus, we have the victory over sin and the power of the Holy Spirit to help us do that which is pleasing to God and good for others as well as ourselves.

What makes a job, a vocation, ''a noble task''?  Status?  Security?  Salary?  While these are all ingreadients in each vocation, for the ''office of overseer,'' pastor, the ingredient is the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the forgiveness He pruchased with His death.  We sinners need this Gospel of new life in Christ; thus we pray for our pastor and for future pastors in training.
